Who
We are the Special Snow Sports Union (SSSU). We started in 2015 and have been hosting events every winter since!
What
We host an annual winter sports competition for those with special needs. Some events include: snowboarding, skiing, and ice skating.
How
We are able to do this with the help of many volunteers and donations. We have coaches who volunteer their time to teach and help host the event.
Where does the money go?
This money goes toward a lot of things! The money is used for venue, hotel rooms, food, swag, and prizes. Since this is a non profit charity, we do not keep any money for personal gain. If there is leftover money, it is saved for the next event. Without donations, this event would not be possible and every penny counts.
